Charles Tolbert

Director of Immanuel Students/Admin. Assistant

Charles was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He is an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan! At the age of 16 years old, Charles was led to Christ through the preaching of the gospel at his high school youth group. He has been growing and burning with a passion to see Jesus glorified in the nations, in music, and in the lives of teenagers ever since. He graduated with a degree in Music Theory & Composition from William Jewell College in 2011, and he has followed the Lord's leading to relocate to Nashville. He is humbled by the opportunity to serve on staff at Immanuel and is happy to answer any questions you may have about the Students Ministry. Taylor Cheek

Children’s Ministry Director

Taylor was born in Mississippi and raised in Georgia. She met her husband Jason while studying music at the University of Georgia, then studied in Germany before marrying & moving to Nashville in 2007. She is grateful for the way the Lord has pursued her through many unique experiences and guided her to this role at Immanuel. Brian Bobel

Communications Director

Brian is a rare native of Nashville. Born in Hendersonville, TN and currently residing in the Whites Creek area of North Nashville with his family. He met his wife, Jessica, in their final semesters of college at the University of Tennessee, where Brian studied graphic design. Go Vols! They have a 3 year old daughter named Anslee and two wonderful baby boys, Rhett and Cohen. Lauren Pedde

Executive Assistant / Projects Manager

Lauren was born in the middle of “Volunteer Country” in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was blessed to grow up (as an only child) in an amazing, Godcentered, Christian home and with the best parents on the planet! Lauren was led to Christ in the second grade. In the fifth grade, her family moved to “golf heaven,” Augusta, Georgia. She graduated from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS), majoring in Sports Business, she needed more football, so she received her Masters Degree in Sports Management.
