David and Teresa Lance
David and Teresa Lance both come from Watkinsville, Georgia, just outside of Athens. They were high school sweethearts and both went to the University of Georgia. Dating through their college years, they finally tied the knot after David’s last year of pharmacy school. After they were married, Teresa ran her parents' day care and David became involved in pharmacy sales. He works with Eli Lilly as a sales manager for the hospital division. Their family has lived in Indianapolis, Dallas, and Knoxville, but they’ve been in Nashville for nine years.
David and Teresa have two beautiful daughters. Their oldest, Ashley, is a junior at Ole Miss. An excellent golfer (and a red-shirt sophomore), Ashley enjoys traveling the country as a member of the Ole Miss golf team. She learned her love of golf by being a daddy's girl and just wanting to be with him, even on the golf course. She beat him for the first time when she was eleven years old. Their younger daughter, Ansley, is a senior at Franklin Road Academy. Vibrant and athletic, Ansley was a gymnast for 12 years and now pole vaults on FRA's team. She'll be joining her sister at Ole Miss in August.
As a Bible Study Fellowship children's leader, Teresa enjoys teaching little ones. Through BSF, Teresa came to know Terri Stilwell who introduced the Lances to Immanuel Church. They love Immanuel because of the intimate feel and because of the way Ray preaches the truth. We welcome the Lance Family to Immanuel!
