Lauren Pedde

Executive Assistant / Projects Manager

Lauren was born in the middle of “Volunteer Country” in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was blessed to grow up (as an only child) in an amazing, Godcentered, Christian home and with the best parents on the planet! Lauren was led to Christ in the second grade. In the fifth grade, her family moved to “golf heaven,” Augusta, Georgia. She graduated from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS), majoring in Sports Business, she needed more football, so she received her Masters Degree in Sports Management. She now loves being a part of Immanuel as a staff member and is happy to answer any questions you may have. You can contact Lauren at

Taylor Cheek

Director of Immanuel Kids

Taylor was born in Mississippi and raised in Georgia. She met her husband Jason while studying music at the University of Georgia, then studied in Germany before marrying & moving to Nashville in 2007. The Lord brought them to Immanuel in 2014, and gave them a daughter in January 2016. Taylor is grateful for the way the Lord has pursued her through many unique experiences and guided her to this role at Immanuel. Jessica Waterman

Music Director

Jessica was born in the small town of Catawba, NC and has lived in the middle Tennessee area for more than 20 years.  She attended MTSU, where she completed her undergraduate and graduate work in Mass Communications and Recording Industry.  Jessica has recorded and released five album projects under her maiden name, Jessica Campbell, and has written songs for many artists and projects. She is the proud wife of Doug Waterman and "Mom" to her two daughters, Rivers and Jewel.  She has been leading worship for many years and still recalls one of her most vivid memories of the Lord calling her into the ministry as a youth.  Jessica enjoys coffee, playing racket sports, bargain hunting, and DIY projects!

Brian Bobel

Design Director

Brian is a native of Nashville. Born in Hendersonville, TN and currently residing in the Whites Creek area of North Nashville with his wife Jessica and four kids. He attended the University of Tennessee, where he studied graphic design.

Emily Stem

Volunteer Coordinator

Emily grew up in the small town of Lawrenceburg, TN just south of Nashville.  Emily came to know the Lord at the age of 6 and doesn't remember a time when she didn't love the Lord. She attended Tennessee Tech University receiving a bachelor's degree in Production Operations Management.  Emily has been living in Nashville since 2013  and attending Immanuel since the fall of 2013.  Emily enjoys studying theology, reading, teaching, and kayaking.

Jenni Maples

iKids Assistant

Jenni was born and raised and lived most of her life in Ohio. She married her amazing husband, Tony in 1989 and the Lord blessed them with two wonderful sons. God graciously brought all the Maples’ to a saving knowledge of Himself. And eventually led them all to Nashville & Immanuel. Jenni is passionate about serving the Lord and His people in the local church and considers it an honor to be on staff.

Hannah Weeks

Office Assistant

Hannah grew up in Murfreesboro, TN in a large family. While she came to know the Lord at an early age, it was not until high school that she began to have a desire for the Church, both local and global. While in college, this desire led her to join Immanuel in 2016. She received two bachelor’s degrees at MTSU in Spanish and Global Studies and then moved to Birmingham, Alabama to participate in the Briarwood Fellows Program. She returned to Nashville in June 2018 to be closer to Immanuel and begin working as the Office Assistant. Hannah loves the Church and desires to see it grow, both in Nashville and far beyond. Hannah enjoys the outdoors, travel, and being an aunt to her 10 nieces and nephews.
